You will be responsible for assisting with and completing maintenance work and repairs, keeping the repair department running efficiently while meeting customer demands.

You will be successful in this role if you:
- High School Diploma/GED required with 2-year technical degree or higher preferred.
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of mechanical/repair experience to include but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience in pipe fitting, programming PLCs and welding is preferred.
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. The position requires a willingness to travel around Wisconsin for daily trips and rare overnight trips.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
- Must have own basic tools; job specific tooling will be provided.
- Be self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills with a strong sense of customer service and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented.
- Willing to work overtime during the week and on weekends when necessary and be on call for a week at a time, including holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of others, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the company.
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Must wear and use proper PPE at all times.
Your daily work in this role will include:
- Perform in-shop and field repairs at customer sites as needed.
- Assist the primary on-call technician as needed when they respond to after-hours emergency calls
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic assessments to determine probable cause for malfunctions and suggest repair for the customer
- Perform start-up and troubleshooting pumps and systems, including programming of microprocessors, PLCs, and VFDs.
- Installation and commissioning of vendor supplied machine health monitoring equipment.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork in detail
- Conduct general facility maintenance repair from daily/weekly assignments and special projects.
