Position Summary:

Support HR Manager in special projects and daily HR functions.

Essential Functions:

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Assists with recruiting function across open positions within the company, to include but not limited to phone screens, assigning assessments and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Currently pursing or recently attained, a 2-year degree or higher in Human Resources is required.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of customer service.
  • Ability to work as a team with internal and external staff members.
  • Demonstrate solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, be a self-starter and possess attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the company.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM.
  • Excellent attendance is punctual and possesses a positive attitude.

Physical Demands:

  • Must wear and use proper PPE at all times when in the shop/warehouse area.
  • Individual will be regularly required to speak and listen.
  • Individual will be required to frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move office products and supplies up to 40 pounds.
