Maintenance Technician
The Repair Center Technician is responsible for assisting and completing pump repairs and works closely with the Repair Center Supervisor and internal staff to keep the Repair Center running efficiently, meeting customer demands.

You will be successful in this role if you:
- High School Diploma/GED required with a 2-year technical degree or higher preferred
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of mechanical/repair experience, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience in pipe fitting, programming PLCs, and welding is preferred.
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. The position requires a willingness to travel around Wisconsin for daily and rare overnight trips.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
- Must have own basic tools; job-specific tooling will be provided
- Be self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills with a strong sense of customer service and the ability to meet deadlines
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented
- Willing to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of others, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the company
- Be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Must wear and use proper PPE at all times
- Previous experience with pumps, piping, controls, and vacuum equipment is an asset but not required.
Your daily work in this role will include:
- Perform in-shop and field repairs at customer sites as needed
- New equipment assembly and equipment hydrostatic & performance testing
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic assessments to determine probable cause for malfunctions and suggest repair for the customer
- Perform start-up and troubleshoot pumps and systems including programming of microprocessors, PLC’s, VFD’s.
- Installation and commissioning of vendor supplied equipment
- Complete all appropriate paperwork in detail
- Conduct general facility maintenance repair from daily/weekly assignments and special projects
