Common questions about industry requirements

Does my industry really change which air compressor I need?

Yes, because the governing standard changes with the industry: food contact points need ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free air, hospitals fall under NFPA 99, and general manufacturing is sized on demand and energy. The compressor room looks similar, but the air specification, monitoring, and documentation differ enough to change the equipment list.

Can I run my whole plant off one compressor if different lines need different air?

Usually a split system wins: a certified oil-free machine feeds the points with a strict specification while a standard rotary screw carries utility load. Running the whole plant on the strictest spec is simpler to draw but wastes capital and energy every year after.
