Sauer Compressors – Passat Series

Sauer Compressors USA has spent the last 70 years developing compressors for a wide selection of industries and functionalities. Customers continue to turn to Sauer for process engineering that requires high-quality compressed gas or air. Today Sauer offers 3 and 4-stage gas compressors for up to 5075 PSL in a standardized product range. Passat Series Sauer compressors and boosters (the ‘G’ series) are air-cooling, oil-lubricated, and single-acting reciprocating compressors that have been engineered with a gas-tight crankcase to prevent gas leakage. The ‘G’ series compressors and boosters perform similarly to the ‘H’ series except for the fact that they are designed for noble gases such as Helium and Argon, and hazardous gases such as Carbon Monoxide and Natural Gas.

The Passat Series Saurer compressors ensure reliability with oil pressure fed to the crankshaft bearings and oil splash for compression, combined with a Sauer regulated oil injection system for the final piston plunger design. They are able to handle elevated suction pressure for both noble and hazardous gases, providing enhanced performance to final pressures between 290 – 580 PSI reliably in three stages and from 1450 – 5075 PSI in four stages within the gas flow rate range of 5.9 – 236 SCFM.
