Pure-Aire – PCH High Efficiency Coalescing Filter

The Pure-Aire PCH High Efficiency Coalescing Filter is part of the Pure-Aire line of energy efficient compressed air filters. They offer superior protection for plant and factory equipment, and they ensure the quality of product output, while also providing significant energy savings. These high efficiency coalescing filters work to virtually eliminate water and oil aerosols from your air compression applications.  These coalescing filters are considered “pre-filters” and meant to be followed up with the use of an activated carbon filter, known as a PCC odor and taste removal filter.

With Pure-Aire, you can rest assured that you are receiving the highest filtration levels available, from 20 to 2,120 scfm, 15 to 290 psig. These details exceed ISO 8573.1 quality classes. With this level of quality performance and outstanding efficiency, these high efficiency coalescing filters, along with PCF, PCR particulate pre-filters and PCC odor and taste removal filters, will be able to tackle a variety of applications requiring completely-clean compressed air.

You can purchase Pure-Aire PCH High Efficiency Coalescing Filters at one of our Midwest Brabazon locations. Contact us today to ask an Account Manager questions about these and other air compression needs and filter options.

Features & Benefits

The Pure-Aire PCH High Efficiency Coalescing Filter comes with a variety of standard features and benefits that ensure reliably high performance and energy efficiency for applications requiring compressed air free of water and oil aerosol particulates.

Standard Features of the Pure-Aire PCH High Efficiency Coalescing Filter

  • PCH high efficiency coalescing filter that removes particles down to 0.01 micron with a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.01 ppm at 70 degrees F.
    • These particles include water and oil aerosol.
  • Pairs with PCF, PCR particulate pre-filters that are high efficiency and remove particles to 1 micron with a maximum remaining aerosol content of 0.5 ppm at 70 degrees F.
    • These particles include gathered water droplets and lubricants that have coalesced.
  • Pairs with activated carbon filters that remove lubricant and hydrocarbon orders, leaving no more than 0.003 ppm (excluding methane) of vapor content.
    • This filter is a PCC filter that is designed to work in conjunction with a high efficiency grade PCH filter.
    • PCH filters should be used prior to PCC filters.
