Enhancing Quality

Air Treatment Solutions: Enhancing Compressed Air Quality

Our customer-oriented approach led us to develop Airtility™. By utilizing Airtility™ and treating compressed air as a utility, you can optimize your operations, reduce downtime, and streamline your maintenance processes. With a fixed monthly fee that covers the container, equipment, service, and maintenance, Airtility™ provides a cost-effective solution that addresses all your facility's compressed air needs. All you need is an electrical supply, a drain connection, and air; we take care of the rest. When it comes to ensuring the highest quality of compressed air, Brabazon's Airtility™ offers a range of innovative air treatment solutions. These solutions work together to eliminate moisture, remove impurities, manage condensate, and eliminate harmful oil mist, guaranteeing a reliable and clean supply of compressed air. Let's delve into the details of the four primary air treatment solutions: air dryers, air filtration, condensate solutions, and mist eliminators. By implementing these solutions, you can optimize your operations, protect your equipment, and maintain the integrity of your processes, regardless of your industry or application. Whatever solution suits your needs, Airtility™ is an option to ensure ongoing, utility-based access to a compressed air resource.

1. Air Dryers: Ensuring Moisture-Free Compressed Air

Air dryers play a crucial role in maintaining compressed air quality by removing moisture. Excessive moisture in compressed air can lead to corrosion, damage to equipment, and compromised product quality. We provide advanced air dryers that eliminate moisture, ensuring a reliable and dry air supply. Our heatless regenerative air dryers, like the Z-Series Vacuum Purge Heatless Regenerative Air Dryer, are designed to efficiently remove moisture from compressed air, preventing operational issues and reducing maintenance costs.

2. Air Filtration: Purifying Compressed Air

Clean and contaminant-free compressed air is needed for many applications, including pneumatic tools, sensitive instrumentation, and cleanroom environments. Brabazon offers robust air filtration solutions that remove impurities, such as oil, dust, and particulates, ensuring a pure compressed air supply. Our high-quality filters, such as coalescing and particulate filters, effectively capture and separate contaminants. This protects consumers as well, safeguarding your equipment and processes from damage and maintaining optimal performance.

3. Condensate Solutions: Proper Management of Condensate

Condensate, the byproduct of compressed air, contains oil, water, and other contaminants that must be managed appropriately. We offer efficient condensate solutions that separate and dispose of condensate in an environmentally friendly manner. Our condensate management systems, like oil-water separators and automatic drain valves, ensure compliance with regulations while minimizing environmental impact. Utilizing our condensate solutions allows you to maintain a sustainable operation while adhering to industry standards.

4. Mist Eliminator: Eliminating Harmful Oil Mist

The presence of oil mist in compressed air can be a concern in applications where oil-lubricated compressors are used. Brabazon carries mist eliminators that efficiently capture and remove oil mist, ensuring clean and oil-free compressed air. Our mist eliminators, such as coalescing filters and demisters, effectively trap oil particles, preventing their entry into downstream equipment and minimizing the risk of contamination. By incorporating our mist eliminators, you can maintain the purity of your compressed air and protect your critical processes.

How Airtility Compares to Owning Your Own Air Compressor

Brabazon's Airtility program redefines how Midwest manufacturers and industrial facilities access compressed air. Instead of purchasing, installing, and maintaining your own equipment, Airtility delivers compressed air as a utility service — much like how you buy electricity or gas. Here's how it stacks up against traditional ownership:

Capital Cost: Owning requires significant upfront investment — a new Sullair rotary screw compressor system with dryers, filtration, and installation can range from $30,000 to over $200,000 depending on size. Airtility eliminates the capital outlay entirely, with a predictable monthly operating fee covering all equipment, installation, maintenance, and service.

Maintenance Responsibility: When you own the equipment, maintenance is your responsibility. Parts, labor, and unplanned repairs come out of your maintenance budget. With Airtility, Brabazon handles all of it — you simply use the air and pay the monthly fee.

Technology Currency: Equipment owned outright can quickly become outdated as efficiency standards improve. Airtility ensures you always operate current-generation equipment, as Brabazon manages the replacement cycle.

Risk Transfer: Equipment failure risk stays with Brabazon under Airtility. A compressor failure doesn't mean emergency capital expenditure — it means a Brabazon technician responds, and your operation keeps moving.

Which Facilities Benefit Most from Airtility?

Airtility is particularly well-suited for facilities that prefer operating expense over capital expense, companies with limited in-house maintenance capability, operations that are growing or scaling and want flexibility, and businesses that have experienced unexpected compressor failures that disrupted production. Brabazon serves Airtility customers across Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, and Missouri. Contact us to find out if Airtility makes sense for your operation.

Airtility Program FAQ

What is included in the Airtility monthly fee?
The Airtility fee covers the air compression equipment, installation, all preventive maintenance, parts, labor for repairs, and 24/7 remote monitoring. You pay one fixed monthly amount and Brabazon handles everything else. There are no surprise bills for a failed separator or a new oil cooler.

What happens if the Airtility equipment fails?
Brabazon responds as quickly as possible to minimize downtime. Because Airtility systems include 24/7 remote monitoring through our AirCare Plus™ platform, many issues are identified and corrected before they cause a shutdown. For failures that do result in downtime, Brabazon dispatches a technician from one of our 14 Midwest locations with parts on the service van.

Is Airtility available for all compressor sizes?
Airtility is available for a wide range of horsepower requirements. Contact Brabazon to discuss your facility's CFM and PSI requirements and we'll design an Airtility solution to match.

Can I transition from owned equipment to Airtility?
Yes. Many Brabazon customers transition to Airtility when their existing compressors reach end-of-life rather than purchasing new equipment outright. The transition is managed by Brabazon and is typically seamless for your operations. Contact a Brabazon account manager to explore the Airtility option for your facility.
